what will Walid Jumblat tell his friend Fisk about this passage???

"I speak Turkish and most were speaking Turkish but some of the men had long beards and short trousers like the Saudis wear, and had strange Arab accents."  So many Aleppo citizens talked to me, out of earshot of soldiers, about armed "foreigners" in their streets along with Syrians "from the countryside" that the presence of considerable numbers of non-Syrian gunmen appeared to be true...""   I still hold that Fisk can't be trusted on any matter of the Middle East anymore and that he lost all credibility but rare is the reference in the Western media to the presence of some support of some of the Syrian population for the Asad regime--regardless whether you like it or not, and I don't like it.  (thanks Nu`man)
